The Giant’s Shoulders, a newly formed collaboration of three companies with expertise in franchising and event management, is to host its first informative event on Thursday, September 18th, beginning at 6:00pm.
Franchise consultancy provider Mr. Franchise, internet marketing firm and franchise marketing specialist Engage Web, and event management company Kate Mackenzie Events, have come together to form the body, which will host the ‘Your Franchising Journey Made Easy’ event at the Park Inn by Radisson in Manchester. Tailored for people who are considering moving into business ownership, the event will specifically discuss franchising as a possibility that they may or may not have thought about.
The event aims to offer something a little different to the usual franchise seminars. Headline sponsor is Bake and Take, a franchisor new to the UK, with support from a number of other franchisors and franchise support services, including Grassroots HR and Business Doctors. For just £10, the event includes wine and nibbles, speakers, and the opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and speak with franchisors and franchisees directly. Speakers will include the internationally renowned speaker, word-of-mouth marketing expert and franchisee himself, Ewan Sturman.
The Giant’s Shoulders (TGS) collaboration was named after the famous Isaac Newton quotation “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants”. TGS seeks to cater to a wide range of potential business owners, covering a vast array of backgrounds, such as those who have previously worked for major companies and hope to become their own boss, recent graduates of business courses, people who are facing redundancy, or those looking to keep their entrepreneurial brains active after retirement.
Engage Web’s Managing Director Lianne Wilkinson said:
“We are delighted to be one of three companies involved in The Giant’s Shoulders, and we look forward to working alongside Mr. Franchise and Kate Mackenzie Events, with each of us bringing our fields of expertise to the forefront.”
Kathryn Orange of Mr. Franchise adds:
“The September event will offer some excellent opportunities for those interested in the franchise sector to meet like-minded people, and gain advice from industry experts through some of the scheduled keynote speeches and educational slots.”
Kate Mackenzie of Kate Mackenzie Events said:
“It’s exciting to be working in a team with other passionate business owners to deliver such a unique event.”
