Lancashire businesswomen are leading the way for the upcoming Digital Marketing Roadshow in Blackpool.
The event has been launched by events company owner Nichola Howard, and supported by leading businesswomen including founder of business resource site Lancashare, Lisa Edge.
The event has been set up to support business owners and managers who are looking for honest and non-nonsense advice, following the experiences of Nichola when she set up her company Launch Events North West.
Nichola says: “When I founded my events company, I had no clue how much my sales and profile would rely on digital marketing - and even less of an idea how to do it. What I also didn't realise is how treacherous the world of digital marketing agencies can be, my experience of under delivery and bad conduct did not do my relationship with the sector any favours.
"I have invited trusted partners to give you access to something I wish I'd had three years ago a room of helpful people who are on hand to offer honest and no-nonsense advice on everything digital"

“Three years in, that relationship has changed. I am working with trusted partners who have helped me to understand and implement social media, web and email marketing and reach more than half a million people during my major events such as Blackpool Expo.
“Now, I have invited these partners on tour with the Digital Marketing Roadshow - first stop Blackpool - to give the visitors access to something I wish I'd had three years ago: a room full of helpful people who are on hand to offer honest and no-nonsense advice on everything digital.”
It is the first time business woman Lisa Edge will be supporting a digital event. Lisa said: “There is a real need from Lancashire organisations for access to skills, networks and support that can truly boost their business. Supporting the Digital Marketing Roadshow was a natural fit for Lancashare and its members, and we're excited to meet the digital rockstars who work hard to give the county's digital sector a good name.”
There will be opportunities to meet industry leaders and explore topics including social media strategy and email marketing at free seminars. Tickets are available free here.
